The firm had an initial focus on the healthcare real estate sector and early designs a natural expansion into higher education sector.

Today, HRE Capital is a leading boutique real estate capital advisory firm focused on these niche asset classes. We have completed over $11 billion in assignments for our diverse client base, which includes many of nation’s largest non-profit and for-profit owners, operators, developers and users of real estate. Mr. Beebe’s experience in advising health systems, academic institutions, physician practices, developers, investors, and operators of healthcare and higher education real estate spans over 15 years and his clients include some of the most prominent non-profit and for-profit companies in the nation.

Prior to HRE Capital, Mr. Beebe spent six years at a prominent New York investment bank and was one of the initial members of the firm’s dedicated healthcare real estate investment banking practice. Prior to that, Mr. Beebe was a member of Ernst & Young Kenneth Leventhal’s National Real Estate Capital Markets Group, where he focused on the execution of real estate transactions for healthcare providers and other real estate owners throughout the United States.

Mr. Beebe’s expertise is advising clients in understanding and executing complex real estate transactions, such as valuations and analysis of owned and to-be-developed assets, developer selection processes, asset and portfolio dispositions / monetizations, joint venture structuring, sale / leasebacks, and raising both debt and equity capital.

Mr. Beebe has worked in an advisory capacity for clients throughout the United States which include many of nation’s most prominent healthcare and academic systems including Greenville Health System (Greenville, South Carolina), Yale New-Haven Health (New Haven, Connecticut), OhioHealth (Columbus, Ohio), Swedish Medical Center (Seattle, Washington), Lancaster General Hospital (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) and the Community Health Network (Indianapolis, Indiana), among others.

Mr. Beebe attended Harvard Business School (PLD) and the University of Florida (BS Finance and Real Estate with Honors).

Mr. Cooper has over 30 years of experience in real estate investment banking, investment management and capital markets activities. Immediately prior to joining Healthcare Real Estate Capital, Mr. Cooper served as an Executive Managing Director and group head of Savills Studley’s Healthcare Capital Markets Group. Over the past decade, Mr. Cooper has been engaged in over $5.3 billion of healthcare and higher education real estate transactions on behalf of prominent investors (Heitman, HCP, AEW, Seavest and JP Morgan), developers (Duke Realty, Faulkner Real Estate, Landmark Healthcare, Cambridge Holdings and HSA PrimeCare) and healthcare providers (Scottsdale Healthcare, Baylor Health Care and Hospital Sisters Health System).

Previously, Mr. Cooper was employed for almost 19 years by Eastdil Realty (“Eastdil”). As an Executive Vice President and member of the management committee, Mr. Cooper had responsibility for the firm's $4.5 billion investment management, financing and investment sale activities across the United States and Europe. In addition, Mr. Cooper was also responsible for overseeing Eastdil's ventures with the Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. of Japan and Bayerische Vereinsbank AG of Germany.

Following his tenure at Eastdil, Mr. Cooper was a Senior Managing Director of Secured Capital (co-head of the firm's New York office) and a Senior Director of Cushman & Wakefield, with responsibility for the firm's national real estate investment banking activities.

Mr. Cooper earned an AB degree (cum laude) from Colgate University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He also holds a JD degree (cum laude) from Columbia University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. As a member of the armed forces Mr. Cooper served to the rank of Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Mr. Cooper served as Chairman of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Council of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the advisory board of Healthcare Real Estate Insights. He is a frequent moderator, author and lecturer on real estate investments and capital markets.

Mr. Farrell has over 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, and has been involved in over $3 billion in healthcare real estate advisory assignments with HRE Capital. Mr. Farrell has represented, in an advisory capacity, clients across the United States which include prominent healthcare real estate developers and investors (Rendina Companies, Columbia Development Companies, FPR Medical Properties) as well as healthcare providers and academic systems such as American Academic Health System (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), NueHealth (Kansas City, Missouri), Greenville Health System (Greenville, South Carolina), Yale New-Haven Health (New Haven, Connecticut) and the Community Health Network (Indianapolis, Indiana). Mr. Farrell has completed a variety of different transactional engagements ranging from $5 million to $400 million, including programmatic joint venture structuring, acquisition sale / leasebacks, outright dispositions and debt financing, among others.

Prior to working at HRE Capital, Mr. Farrell was employed as a project manager with First Columbia, one of Upstate New York’s largest privately held real estate developers with a geographic reach from Westchester County to the Canadian Border. At First Columbia, Mr. Farrell was involved in various aspects of the development process including, zoning and entitlements, debt and equity placement, grant writing and dispositions. More specifically, he coordinated the $100 million sale of a nine building medical office portfolio to a national medical office fund and secured in excess of $50 million in financing proceeds for a four building commercial office portfolio.

Prior to First Columbia, Mr. Farrell was employed by Manufacturers & Traders Trust Company (M&T Bank) as an assistant vice president responsible for sourcing and underwriting construction / permanent financing for commercial office, medical office, retail, and multi-family projects throughout the Northeast.

Mr. Farrell graduated from Binghamton University (BS in Finance) and the University of San Diego (MS in Real Estate). Mr. Farrell is a LEED Accredited Professional, CCIM Candidate and Licensed Real Estate Salesperson (Massachusetts).

Mr. Dominguez’s experience includes providing transactional guidance to some of the nation’s leading hospitals / health / academic systems, developers, and investors related to monetization, developer selection, and other strategic advisory services. Mr. Dominguez has worked in an advisory capacity for some of the nation’s most prominent hospitals and health systems including, Carolinas Healthcare System (Charlotte, North Carolina), BayCare Health System (Clearwater, Florida), Infirmary Health System (Mobile, Alabama) and Holy Name Hospital (Teaneck, New Jersey), among others.

Prior to HRE Capital, Mr. Dominguez spent six years with a prominent healthcare investment bank, where he was a Vice President. In this position, Mr. Dominguez served as a trusted real estate advisor to executive-level clients, developing productive relationships with many of the largest and most prestigious hospitals / health systems, developers and investors in the United States.

Mr. Dominguez previously worked at Miller Capital Advisory, a registered investment advisor serving the pension fund real estate community, with approximately $8 billion in assets under management. Mr. Dominguez was responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, strategic planning and analytical support for the management of a $2 billion real estate portfolio which included some of the largest regional shopping malls in the United States.

During his time with HRE Capital, Mr. Earl has participated in advisory assignments for clients across the United States, including prominent healthcare real estate developers and investors (AW Property Co., Granger Group, Richmond Honan) and healthcare providers such as Kettering Health Network (Kettering, Ohio), Yale New-Haven Hospital (New Haven, Connecticut) and the Community Health Network (Indianapolis, Indiana). Mr. Earl has experience with a variety of different healthcare and higher education real estate transactions ranging from $5 million to $400 million, including sale / leasebacks, outright dispositions and acquisition structuring.

Prior to HRE Capital, Mr. Earl was employed as a commercial agent (leasing and sales) and development associate with Management Services Corporation (“MSC”). MSC, headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia, remains one of the region’s largest real estate investment and development firms. At MSC, Mr. Earl managed commercial leasing portfolios for several high net worth individuals and corporations, including large regional financial institutions, advising a diverse client base regarding property valuation, leasing strategy, offer analysis and contract negotiation. Additionally, Mr. Earl has substantial experience in real estate development focused on property zoning and entitlements, cash flow analysis and project management.

Mr. Breuer has a significant real estate and analytical consulting background, including more than eight years of experience in the institutional risk management industry and recent experience in real estate investment banking and real estate private equity.  

Prior to HRE Capital, Mr. Breuer graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (“Booth”) with an MBA.  While at Booth, Mr. Breuer made real estate the focus of his studies having taken all of Booth’s real estate curriculum and having completed MBA internships in real estate investment banking and real estate private equity. Specifically, Mr. Breuer interned as an associate with UBS Investment Bank in New York in their Real Estate, Lodging, and Leisure group where he worked on various acquisition and financing transactions with public REITS and large private real estate investment firms. Mr. Breuer also interned as an investment associate with Calzada Capital Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm that invests in Latin American real estate operating platforms, where he helped launch the firm’s most recent investments by performing the underwriting and the financial modeling for various acquisition and development opportunities.

Prior to attending Booth, Mr. Breuer worked in Chicago, London, and Singapore as a risk management consultant at Quantitative Risk Management where he was responsible for guiding the largest global financial institutions towards best practices in the measurement and management of interest rate risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk.

 In addition to obtaining an MBA from Booth, Mr. Breuer graduated from Northwestern University (BA in Economics).
